【摘要】:Thispracticeisnotmeanttoincludeproductsotherthanexitdevicesexcepttotheextentthatsuchproductsdirectlyrelatetotheuseofexitdevices.Whenotherproductsaredescribed,thesecurityattributesoftheotherproductsaredescribedgenerallyinthedocumentsreferencedinSection2.1.1ThispracticeprovidesinformationfortheinstallationofexitdevicesusedinareasofsecuritytoachievethegreatestsecuritypossiblewithoutviolatingtherequirementsandspiritofNFPA101.1.2Securityofahighlevelisnotalwayspossiblewiththeseproductsbuttheuseofcertaintypesandfunctionsofexitdeviceswillaffordamuchhigherdegreeofsecuritythantheuseofothertypesandfunctions.1.3Thevaluesasstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
