【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplyto:a)Productsintendedtoreceiveandreacttocommunicationdatainthesmartenvironment,alsoknownassmartenabledproducts;b)Productsidentifiedasbeingcompatiblewithcommunicationenvironmentsassociatedwith(a),orthosewhicharenotsmartenabled,butcompatiblewithsmartenabledproducts;andc)Productsintendedtointeractwithcommunicationdataandcontrolproductsthatdonototherwisereacttocommunicationdata.1.2Productscoveredby1.1(a)arecommonlyidentifiedas“smart”productsor“smartenabled”andareintendedtointeractwiththe“SmartGrid”describedbytheEnergyIndependenceandSecurityActof2007.1.3Productscoveredby1.1(b)arenotspecificallyidentifiedforinteractionwiththe“SmartGrid”butareidentifiedasbeingcompatiblewiththatenvironment.Suchproductsincorporatefeaturessuchthattheydonotinteractwithormodifyresponsesofotherproductsconnectedtothepowerdistributionsystem,andtheyarenotadverselyaffectedbyotherdevicesorcommunicationsassociatedwiththeenvironmentinwhichtheyareinstalled.1.4Productscoveredby1.1(c)areenablerdevicesintendedtointeractwiththe2SmartGrid2andinterfacewithdevicesthatarenototherwisesmartenabled.1.5Theserequirementssupplementthosespecifiedintheapplicableend-productStandardforSafety.Wheretheend-productStandardincludesrequirementsthatachievetheintentoftheserequirementsasapplicabletothespecificproduct,theend-productStandardtakesprecedence.
