【摘要】:Theobjectofthistestprocedureistomeasureseveralwavelengthandspectralwidthpropertiesofanopticalspectrumassociatedwithafibreopticcommunicationsubsystem.Themeasurementisdoneforthepurposeofsystemconstructionand/ormaintenance.Theopticaltransmitteristypicallyundermodulation.NOTE-Differentpropertiesmaybeappropriatetodifferentspectraltypes,suchascontinuousspectracharacteristicoflight-emittingdiodes(LEDs),andmultilongitudinalmode(MLM)spectraandsingle-longitudinalmode(SLM)spectra,bothcharacteristicoflaserdiodes(LDs).WARNING-Exercisecaretoavoidpossibleeyedamagefromlookingintotheendofanenergizedfibrefromanylightsource.Mostimportantly,personnelshouldavoidlookingintoanyenergizedfibreusinganytypeofmagnificationdevice.TherequirementsinIEC60825-1shouldbefollowed.
