【摘要】:SBusisahighperformancecomputerI/OinterfaceforconnectingintegratedcircuitsandSBusCardstoacomputersystemmotherboard.Thisstandarddefinesthemechanical,electrical,environmental,andprotocolrequirementsforthedesignofSBusCardsandthecomputersystemmotherboardthatsupportsthosecards.EverySBusCardshallimplementappropriateself-descriptiveandinitializationfirmwareusingFCode,whichissimilartotheForthprogramminglanguage.Thedetailsofthisfirmwarestandardarebeyondthescopeofthisstandard.Inaddition,othersoftwareinterfacesmaybeusedforcommunicationwithSBusCards.SBusisintendedtoprovideahighperformanceI/Obusinterfacewithasmallmechanicalformfactor.Thesmallsize,highlevelsofintegration,andlowpowerusageofSBusCardsenablethemtobeusedinlaptopcomputers,compactdesktopcomputers,andotherapplicationsrequiringsimilarcharacteristics.SBusCardsaremountedinaplaneparalleltothemotherboardofthecomputersystem,allowingthecomputersystemtohavealowprofile.SBusisnotdesignedasageneralpurposebackplanebus.SBusallowstransferstobeinunitsof8,16,32,or64bits.Bursttransfersareallowedtofurtherimproveperformance.SBusallowsanumberofSBusMasterdevicestoarbitrateforaccesstothebus.ThechosenSBusMasterprovidesa32-bitvirtualaddresswhichtheSBusControllermapstotheselectionoftheproperSBusSlaveandthedevelopmentofthe28-bitphysicaladdressforthatSlave.TheselectedSBusSlavethenperformsthedatatransfersrequestedbytheSBusMaster.SimpleSBusCardsmaybedesignedtooperatesolelyasSlavesontheSBus.note:1)Afirmwareinterfacestandardisunderconsideration.
